COVID-19

Adhering to the Government’s announcement on 18th March 2020, Hollingworth Primary School will remain open to the children of key workers who are unable to provide childcare at home and children who have been identified as vulnerable.

We understand this is an anxious time for you and your children and this page will be updated regularly with advice and guidance to support you whilst school is closed.

Updated government advice for parents can be found here.

Supporting children with complex needs

A welcome package announced today which will hopefully be of much needed support to families across our borough was the £10 million-pound settlement for Family Fund.  The money will help low-income families with seriously ill or disabled children with the cost of equipment, goods or services – from washing machines and refrigerators to sensory and educational equipment that they might not otherwise be able to afford.  The grants are typically worth £400 to £500 per family, but vary depending on need.  You can read more here and families can apply for grants by visiting the Family Fund website https://www.familyfund.org.uk/
