Remote Learning at Hollingworth Primary

Remote Learning at Hollingworth Primary

Posted by Liz Diggle in Uncategorized 20 Mar 2020

As you will be aware, the school will be closed to the majority of pupils from Friday, 20th March 2020.  During this time, teachers will be setting daily work for the children to complete.  All of this work will be set online.  The children will receive daily work for English, mathematics and reading.  This work will be set through the Seesaw app.  In addition to this, children will also receive work that is linked to the topic, that they are currently studying.  Work for the children will be set on Seesaw, Purple Mash, IXL, Study Ladder and Read Theory.

If you are having difficulty accessing these apps, please could you let us know and will try to assist you with this.  Seesaw will be the main form of contact with your child’s class teacher and will be checked by them during their working hours (9:00am – 3:15pm).  Any comments made outside of this time will be read and acted upon the following working day.  If you are unable to communicate using Seesaw, please contact the school office.

If you follow the tab “Parents”, then “Remote Learning” you will find some useful websites to support remote learning.

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

Mr. J. Malone – Deputy Headteacher
