Homework

Homework will be set on a Monday and needs to be completed by the following Monday. Please submit homework via Seesaw.

 

Reading:

Please read for 20 minutes each day.

One of the days should be spent on Read Theory. http://readtheory.org

Children should also read aloud to an adult at home at least five times a week. This needs to be recorded daily in the children’s diaries by an adult.

Spellings:

Please complete 10 minutes on EdShed, once a week. http://play.edshed.com

 

Maths:

There will be two IXL maths codes to be completed online each week. These will be shared on Seesaw. When the activity is complete, you can take a screenshot or photo and upload it to Seesaw. http://uk.ixl.com

TTRockstars:

Please complete 10 minutes on TTRockstars each week. http://play.ttrockstars.com

 

 

Diaries should be filled in and brought to school everyday. On a Monday, diaries will be checked and signed by an adult. Dojos will be awarded for reading that is recorded in diaries and signed by an adult. A maximum of 7 dojos will be awarded each week.

 

 

Information on Trips

Each year the children in Years 5 and 6 are given the opportunity to take part in a residential trip to an outdoor pursuits activity centre.  This year’s residential trip is to Robinwood in Todmorden and will take place in 19th-21st July 2024. Next year, we will visit Manor Adventure in Lockerbie.
