Admissions
Children are generally admitted during the school year in which they attain their 5th birthday. We follow the Tameside Admission Policy which can be found at
www.tameside.gov.uk/schools/admissions
Opening date for applications for Reception is 1st November 2025.
All applications must be made online to Tameside Council.
Closing Date 15th January 2026
Nursery Admissions
The closing date for admission to Nursery in September 2026 is Monday, 2nd February 2026. Places will be offered to children who will become 3 years old between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026 (and therefore born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023).
Nursery place offer day is: Friday, 6th March 2026.
Accepting a place: Monday, 23rd March 2026

Our Nursery offers places for children aged 3-4 years, Monday-Thursday 8:50am-3:20pm & Friday 8.50am-13.10pm, offering 30 hours Nursery provision.
We can also provide extended hours on a Friday afternoon making the day 8.50am - 3.20pm at the additional cost of £6 per hour.
Additional Costs:
For any nursery children that are 15+ hours per week - meaning they stay for the afternoon session also, there is a 50p snack charge per day.
We can provide a school dinner for these children at a cost of £3.48 per day (unless you are eligible for free school meals) or they can bring a packed lunch from home.
Free school meals can be claimed by parents or guardians of pupil's who are on a low income, please check you eligibility by completing the application form here.
