Children will need to come to school wearing plain black shorts/pants (weather dependent) a plain white T-shirt and black trainers.

If you have any time to spare and would like to offer your services in Year 1 please contact Miss Schofield or the office to make the necessary arrangements. Your help will always be welcomed!

Parent’s Meetings

Thursday 15th October 2026 and Thursday 18th March 2027

Homework Days:

Homework will be given out on Fridays and will be posted on your child’s Seesaw journal, pinned to the top. Homework included, Maths games on Numbots, and subject specific activities on PurpleMash.

Reading Diaries

Reading Diaries should be filled in at home daily and should be handed in, completed, on Fridays – when they will be checked, signed and given new books.

The Year 1/2 book workshare will be held on November 5th 2026.

Trips 

We will be visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park in the Spring ter 2027 date TBC.
